Who this covers

This page covers Peseros Driver. Passengers and this website are covered by the rider privacy policy. Route owners and operators see live unit location in their dashboard.

Information we collect

• Phone number, and WhatsApp to deliver your login code
• Name, route, and unit
• Precise GPS while you drive: coordinates, speed, accuracy, and time
• Lower-frequency location in watch / auto-detect mode, to notice that a route has started
• Device information: model, operating system, and app version
• Trip history and shift statistics
• Session recordings via LogRocket, identified with your id, name, phone, and route

Background location

Peseros Driver collects precise location while a route is active, including when the app is in the background or closed, so passengers can see the bus. Watch / auto-detect may read location less often to detect that a trip started. You can stop tracking in the app and revoke permission in system settings.

• Full tracking runs only after you start a route (or auto-start begins one)
• Watch mode is lower power, but it is still location collection

How we use it

We use this information to run live tracking for passengers and fleet owners, keep your trip history, secure login, support, and improve the driver app. We do not sell your personal information.

• Let route owners monitor their fleet
• Show you trip history and stats
• Send a WhatsApp login code and keep your session

When we share

We do not sell personal information. We do share location and account data as needed to run the service:

• Passengers: approximate location of the unit on the map
• Route owners and operators: live unit location and related operations data
• WhatsApp / Meta: your phone number, to deliver the OTP
• LogRocket: session recordings to debug the app
• When required by law

Service providers

Some providers process data outside Mexico, including in the United States:

• WhatsApp / Meta — login codes
• LogRocket (United States) — session recording and diagnostics
• Firebase — related app services
• Our cloud hosting and database providers

How long we keep it

Live location is used to show your position and is kept for a short time. Trip history is kept so you and the operator can see past shifts. Account and phone data last until you ask us to delete them or the operator removes the driver. You can request deletion at any time.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete, or object to our use of your information (ARCO rights in Mexico). Email privacy@peseros.com. You can stop tracking in the app and revoke location in system settings.

Consent

By using Peseros Driver and turning on tracking or watch mode, you agree to location collection as described here. You can withdraw by stopping tracking, revoking permission, or uninstalling the app. Login still requires your phone number.

Minors

Peseros Driver is for adult drivers. It is not directed at people under 18.

Changes

We may update this policy. We will post the new date here and, for significant changes, notify you in the app.
